Kylie's International Blog Highlight May 2019 - Vote For Me

Welcome all to my May 2019 blog post for Kylie's International Blog Hop. And you can Vote for Me, too! Here is the link: http://bit.ly/KyliesInternationalHighlightsMay2019VoteforMeHere
The theme is encouragement, get well or thank you.
My husband asked me to make a thank you note for his friend who has done a lot of work for him. When I asked him what he had in mind, he pulled out his Father's Day card from last year. It was one I made for him using the truck from the Country Livin stamp set. His friend's business is called "Nine Imports" and he asked me to include that name somewhere on the card.
I stamped on Whisper White card stock the truck image with Memento Black ink, since I knew I was going to use Stamp 'N Blends which are alcohol markers. I googled "rusty red truck" images on the internet and found lots of inspiration. I always create at least two images when I color. In theory, one is for practice and the others get better as I do more. In this case, I ended up liking them both and my husband ended up picking the first "practice image" (on the right):
Here are the markers I used with a sketchy type stroke:

I finished the 2 cards differently, one with a sentiment and image on the inside and one left blank:
County Livin stamp set will be retiring at the end of May 2019. I've used it many, many times for it also has cowboy boots and a guitar in the set. All 3 images are fun with which to create!
