Welcome friends to this Clean and Simple (CAS) card for the following FUSION Challenge:
These challenges are always fun and really get the creative juices flowing!
I went with both the sketch and the door to create my card. Recently I've written several blogs describing how I created the background with the ink smooshing technique. I'll put the links below.
Here are the 3 cards I made with this particular background:
I used the new Woven Heirlooms stamp set which I won at Prize Patrol at the recent Stampin' Up! Onstage in Charlotte, NC for the sentiments. It has a beautiful font which I used both outside and inside the card. It will be available June 3rd, 2019 with the new annual catalog 2019-2020 release.
Click on the image below for more details on ink smooshing. Note: the link will go live on May 13, 2019 at 5PM EST:
The supplies I used for all 3 cards are linked below.
This card had the same technique, just different colors. Click on the image to see the details.
I certainly appreciate your stopping to take the time to read my blog, comment, follow and I hope you find some inspiration from it!

Welcome

I am a wife of 48 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
