Freshly Made Sketches #372

Hi all! Just a quick post for my card for this weeks' Freshly Made Sketches #372 challenge:
Some of you may have seen by blog post for this card:
l
I had the leftover punched out letters and couldn't let them go to waste! So this card is actually the positive letters from my "Large Letters Framelits".

I used Stampin' Sponges cut into 6ths to ink blend 3 colors horizontally: Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight.  These sponges are the best kept secret for an inexpensive ink blending tool. The Circle Tab Punch makes a perfect handle to staple onto to the sponge and help keeps your fingers clean, too. I write the name of the ink on the punch tab and keep them in a craft container meant for beads.  The more you use the sponges, the better they work.
Once the ink blending was done I splattered with water droplets and pressed with a blue shop towel. Finally, I splattered with water-downed Flirty Flamingo re-inker from a clear block.
Using gold foil sheet, I die cut the ribbon-like border from the Flourish Thinlits and adhered with tiny drops of Tombow adhesive. The word "amazing" was die cut twice from Whisper White Thick paper and once with gold foil sheet. The 3 layers were glued together, with the gold sheet in the middle.

I hope you enjoyed this "Part 2" card. For any of these or other Stampin' Up! products please click on all link below:
