Hi all! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Nov. 2018 Blog Hop for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. This is an international Facebook group led by vivacious Kylie Bertucci from Australia. This particular hop has no theme so there should be an amazing variety of projects!
The cards I made were based on the Facebook Group,Colour Inkspiration challenge #44.
A Colour Inkspiration design team member chooses a Pinterest picture and the related colors for the challenge. For #44 - five colors were allowed: Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz.
Before I started the card, I painted a test strip to see how the colors would work on Stampin' Up! watercolor paper. I knew Birthday Posies would be prefect for these colors.
Next, I stamped with Versamark the main designs and the small coordinating stamps. After sprinkling with white embossing powder, I heat-set the designs. Finally, I used Stampin' Up! re-inkers as watercolor paint and colored in the designs with a small Silver watercolor brush. I always seem to end up with lots of bits and pieces from trial and error!
