Welcome to the North Carolina Demos Nov. 2018 Blog Hop! Our theme is Holiday Happenings. For me, my holiday happening is preparing for a Dec. 8th holiday pop-up shop at the Durham Center for Senior Life:
I started with 2 stamp sets, Making Every Day Bright and Making Christmas Bright, 3 ink pads and 3 sets of colored card stock. Since we were camping in our RV when I was creating these candy treat holders, I was limited in supplies and just had to work with what I had.
Once I was home I could attach the top labels to shaped labels and finally attach to the treat holders. By letting the shaped framelit hang off the side of folded paper, it creates an small shaped card.
Fun to make!
If you are local and in the Durham area on the 8th, please stop by and say hi! 9 am to 1 pm 406 Rigsbee Ave., Durham, NC 27701.
Here are the links to the other demos' blogs! I am sure you will enjoy their work.

Welcome

I am a wife of 44 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
