Stamping For Others Prize Patrol February Team Challenge

One last blog for this weekend and my last card for my Stampin' Up! Demo group team challenge to make 11 cards with different themes. The theme for this card was to use "at least 3 products from any current Stampin' Up! Suite". I choose the Tropical Escape Suite which includes the Tropical Chic stamp set, the Tropical Thinlits, Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper (DSP)(48 double-sided 6 X 6 sheets) and the Tropical Escape coordinating colors of Granny Apple Green and Blushing Bride.
Using the DSP from the Suite, I die cut the square leave design and also one of the flowers in the Big Shot. I just layered coordinating paper to that it was pleasing to the eye. A simple sentiment from the stamp set made a perfect horizontal banner. Lastly a few "Basic Rhinestones" finished the card.
I left the inside blank, but did add a leaf cut from the DSP just to continue with the theme.
That's it! Simple but the DSP makes it fast and easy. Want to purchase any of these items? Just click on the links below and thanks for staying to the end:

As You See It Challenge #191 Bokeh Balloons Again?!!!

I am very happy to be submitting a card for the As You See It Challenge #191, a sketch challenge:
I created this bokeh background for a new home card I had in mind for a family member who has just relocated to Florida from snowy Buffalo! I used 3 Stampin' Up! colors: Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick and ink-blended them with cut Stampin' sponges onto a A2 size of Whisper White Thick cardstock.
Using a stencil I made with the Balloon Punch and a piece of window sheet, I sponge daubed Whisper White Craft Ink to give the bokek effect:
"In photography, bokeh (/ˈboÊŠkeɪ/ BOH-kay; Japanese: [boke]) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light".
It cut the frame with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits which are so great because the stitches are on both sides of the cut. I glued the frame to the A2 card base and popped up the center with fun foam to keep a perfectly even layer when mailed. The sentiment is from the "At Home with You" stamp set heat embossed with white unto Basic Black card stock.
I finished with a couple of the same balloons punched out of vellum and added the sentiments. This gives you a place to adhere the balloons for glue shows through vellum. And lastly some epoxy hearts colored with Dark Poppy Parade Stamp 'n Blend.
"
The sentiment inside the card says "Enjoy!" from the "Dear Doily" Stamp set.

I hope they like their card and if you would like to recreate - click below to purchase directly from my online store:
