Lawn Fawn for Paper Funday

Hi friends! Can you believe it is July already? I should be making Christmas cards now...but I was in a summer mood.
For this month at The Paper Funday Challenges one of our sponsors is Lawn Fawn! Who doesn't love all the cuteness of Lawn Fawn?
I choose 3 Lawn Fawn sets (stamps and dies): Gleeful Gardens, Oh Gnome and All the Speech Bubbles and mixed and matched them for these 4 cards. I stamped multiple images on Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Card Stock with Altenew Obsidian Black Pigment Ink. I added Altenew Clear Crisp Embossing Powder while still wet and heat set. All images were water colored with Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
The base cards each have a different Masking Stencil from Taylored Expressions: Oval, Rectangles, Circles and Square Windows. I just bought a few Gina K. Designs inks and wanted to try them out with ink blending. I just used 2 on each card: Turquoise Sea and Jelly Bean Green. I really liked how they smoothed out after blending.
Then the fun began - just playing with the images and seeing what look good to me. So fun!
Thanks for stopping by and come join us over at the Challenge page this month and let's see what you create. Anything Goes!
I will also be submitting to NBUS for I have not used the Lawn Fawn or Gina K. products before.

Penny Black Guest Designer

Hello my friends and welcome to my Guest Designer post for Penny Black Saturday Challenges! Penny Black is one of my absolute favorite stamp companies and I love the opportunity to go through my Penny Black stash and create...in this case I made multiple cards.  The theme for this challenge which begins Saturday, March 2, 2024 is Anything Goes with Optional Easter.
I needed some anniversary cards and thought the Spring Tulips and the love theme would be perfect!
I used 3 main Penny Black Die Cuts products for my cards today: The TULIPS #51-430, were cut out of Ranger Ink Distress Tim Holtz Water Color Card Stock, the YOU #51-760 and IMMENSE LOVE #51-760 were cut from Bristol Smooth Card Stock. All were cut three times each and layer together with Bearly Arts Glue for nice dimension.
Penny Black's Creative Dies set called CROSS STITCH BORDERS was used for the background for this card. I ran the largest die 3 times through the front of the card to create texture and movement.
The card below uses Penny Black's Creative Die DAINTY DASHES STACKERS for the edges which I personally love.
Here's a close up of the water coloring on all the tulips using Mungyo's Professional Half Pan Watercolors. Most of the sentiments come from Waffle Flower's Happy Anniversary stamp set.
Here are all 3 shown together: The large die cut words were ink blended with Ranger Ink's Distress Inks: blues were Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon. The Purples were Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord and Villianous Potion.
Penny Black's products are all high quality and well designed. They are so much fun to take a day or two and just mix and match and create! Thank you for joining me today and I'm looking forward to seeing your work at the challenge

A New Stamp Set

Happy New Year friends! Big Squishy Hugs to you!

A Colorful Life Design's January 2023 Release included a new stamp set. This is the second one for the shop and it's a really good one. Called Oodles there are so many scenarios for these sentiments:
Before I go further, please use my discount code AnitaFan10 (10% off your entire order, excluding bundles) if you wish to purchase from A Colorful Life Designs.  Mary Kay de la Fuente is the one woman who runs the company, designs and creates each stencil. Let's support small USA businesses! There are hundreds of styles...something for everyone.
For the card below I used no line watercoloring with Penny Black's Gentle Thoughts stamp set. "Forever Besties" from the Oodles Stamp Set seemed a perfect sentiment.
For the following card I stamped and white heat embossed the Big Squishy Hugs sentiment over and over to create my own background. The stamp is from StampinBella Curvy Girl Boy Mom.  All watercolored with Daniel Smith's 238 Dot Watercolor cards. I am a lunchtime colorer and these cards make it so easy to carry back and forth to work. The rectangle is cut with Wonky Stitch Rectangles by Pretty Pink Posh.
Love You So Much was perfect with this Penny Black stamp called Love You. Again, watercolored and the decorative border was created with Whimsy Stamps' Festive Edger Die Set for these next 2 cards. I picked them up over the holidays when there were great sales.
The Multi Dots stencil was perfect (IMO) for the background on my popcorn card. Just ink-blended a soft blue through the stencil.
I used Waffle Flower's Popcorn Die-n-Stencil for the popcorn box and the cute popcorn-eating kitten is from C.C. Designs called Cat Kinda Day. Of course, the sentiment is from our new Oodles stamp set!
BoHo Heart Stencil has very thin lines and Pixie Spray is highly recommended.
Here I offset the BoHo Heart Stencil and used a pretty pretty pink for ink blending. And our Oodles sentiment!
Heart Surround is such a beautiful stencil:
Here I used it with a beautiful blue (ink-blended) and added a white heart frame. Of course, our Oodles stamp sentiment! The cool border is from Spellbinders called Fluted Classic Rectangles. I love texture around the edges of my cards!
Thank you for joining me today and check out all the new stencils at A Colorful Life Designs! I will be submitting to the following challenges:
1) NBUS

All the Stars

Yah, it's November and time for another Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge!
A Colorful Life Design's November release is out and I made 2 cards with the stencil called All the Stars:

To create the background I used Pixie Spray on the back of the stencil to give it good adhesion and then ink blended Ranger Ink's Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. My plan was to keep the fade out so that the little dog and cat were the focal point.
The sentiments and images are from the Colorado Craft Co. Anita Jeram's All is Bright Stamp and Coordinating Die set. They were colored with my various alcohol markers. I use Altenew's Obsidian Black Pigment Ink for all my black stamping. It is the darkest I've ever used...but be sure to let it dry for it will smear. I generally stamp and set it to the side for a while before I work with it again.
I love when there is the coordinating die. It just cuts out all the little details that the Brother Scan 'n Cut does not. See the spaces between the branches?
Here they are side by side. Which is your favorite?
Thanks for joining me and use my code AnitaFan10 for 10% off your entire purchase (excluding bundles) at A Colorful Life Designs shop. The new release is amazing! Pick some up and show use your work here at Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge - Anything Goes!

Christmas Selfies

I thought I'd play along with the MFT Stamps Challenge 2022 Superstar. I am submitting to the Coloring Virtuoso Challenge.

I used the BB Christmas sELFies set which has 4 little squares of "Selfies":
I have had this set for a long time and never got around to using it. I thought this was the perfect chance!
The background is a retired MFT Stencil called Peace, Love and Joy which I ink blended in a rainbow of colors.
The fun cute sentiment is part of the BB Christmas Selfies set which I heat embossed with white on black cardstock. Well thanks for joining me for this quick post today!

So Very Thankful

Hello all! Today I am sharing a card I made to enter into The Card Concept and Stencil Fun Challenges for this month:
I was inspired by the colors and leaves of gorgeous trees in The Card Concept Inspiration Photo for this Clean & Layered card.
I started with the Maple Leaves Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I am on the Design Team for A Colorful Life Designs. It is a woman owned, small business out of Texas. The owner and designer, May Kay DelaFuente has so many wonderful stencils! If you'd like to check out her shop and received a discount use my code  AnitaFan10 for 10% off your entire purchase (excluding bundles). Here is the image of the 6" X 6" stencil I used for this card from the Mary Kay's website:
I ink blended onto a 6" X 6" panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock with fall colors of  Ranger Ink's Distress Ink colors. I did cut the panel down so that there would be a nice white border all around. I tried to show the amazing sparkle of the sentiment from this angle:
The center focal point was cut from gold glitter cardstock using Sizzix's Ornate Labels #659711 by Lori Whitlock. It is soon to be discontinued and at this writing on sale for $3.45! It is a 12 piece Thinlit set which I have used so many times!
The So Very Thankful sentiment is from The Stamp Market called Pretty Pumpkin, retired. And the fun, snarky sub-sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp called Sassy Thankful.
Thank you for joining me for this quick fall themed stencil card! I will also be submitting to NBUS:
