Hi friends and welcome. Today's posts is for 2 cards, once for a child and one Christmas using the Wavy Roads Stencil by A Colorful Life Designs.
The Wavy Roads Stencil is a 6" x 9" stencil and perfect for a slimline card. For me, since I sell my cards at my daughter's shop, A2 is more convenient. I was able to make 2 cards out of each ink blended panel. Here is the image of the stencil from the shop:
For this card, I ink blended Ranger Ink Distress Ink Pumice Stone through the Wavy Roads Stencil. I tried to do somewhat of a gradient - lighter and darker areas.
The stamp and die set I used is called Construction Trucks from Pretty Pink Posh. It is really fun to play with children's images for a change. I used my alcohol markers to color all the images and a silver pen for the metal parts.
You know I love the coordinating dies, too:
The inside has a cute little construction cone next to the sentiment!
For my second set of cards, I used another Distress Oxide Ink for ink blending: Salvaged Patina.
The stamp and die set is from Lawn Fawn called Home for the Holidays. It also has a coordinating die. This is one of the cute small Lawn Fawn sets for under $10 you have the stamps and dies. The sentiment comes from the set, too.Well, I hope you've enjoyed my Wavy Roads cards and don't forget to use my coupon code: AnitaFan10 for 10% off your entire purchase at A Colorful Life Designs (excluding bundles)!
I will be submitting my cards to:

Welcome
I am a wife of 48 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
