Faith Card

Welcome friends, to October 2023 Beautiful Blossoms Challenge!
Loving this inspiration photo for the apples and fall colors:
I love this digital image from Power Poppy called Apples in Season. I printed on 90 lb. Watercolor Paper by Strathmore for a change. It is a student grade, but it is more of a cream color and nice and lightweight. Goes easily through the laser printer and adheres to a card base beautifully.
I decided this card would be perfect for a faith based sentiment from Penny Black Stamp Set called Inspirational Sentiments. Such a lovely set.
The inside sentiment is from Gina K. Designs called The Lord is My Shepherd. Another lovely set with a large floral image and a coordinating die. Anxiety is so pervasive now I though this sentiment maybe would help ease someone's suffering.
Thanks for joining me today and as always, we are so happy to see your lovely creations at The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge!

October HLS Gobble Gobble

Welcome to October 2023 Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge!
I used A Colorful Life Designs Maple Leaves stencil for each one of these card backgrounds. The images and sentiments are all from Kat Scrappiness Gobble Gobble stamps and dies. I love a good snarky set.
Don't you just love the sentiment inside? Made me laugh!
I have a daughter who is Vegan and this card will be for her!  The images are stamped on Ranger Ink's Tim Holtz's Distress Watercolor Card Stock with Altenew's Obsidian Black Pigment Ink and sprinkled with clear embossing powder. Then they are watercolored with Altenew's 36 pan Watercolor Set.
The stencils were all ink blended with Distress Inks.
This card below uses MFT Stamps' Touch of Texture Background for the background on the right. The wedge shapes on both the first card and this one below are die cut with Spellbinders Color Block Panel.
Stencils are such a good jumping off point when creating! Just ink blend several panels, cut into various shapes and add a focal point...voila! Come join us at The Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge and let's see your creative work!!!

Pawsome Birthday

It's October and one of our sponsors for The Paper Funday Challenge this month is All Dressed Up Stamps! I choose this image Dogs in Shades (digital images) from my stash of All Dressed Up Stamps designs for I just love a card with dogs!
I started with Rolling Road Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs for the background. I ink blended a sweet pink with a blending sponge for a cohesive color behind the sweet dogs.
As is my usual, I printed 3 designs onto Ranger Ink's Tim Holtz's Distress Watercolor Paper with a laser printer. Then I watercolored the images with my Altenew 36 Pan Watercolor set. The touches of gold are from Altenew's Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. Love the gold.
Here I painted all 3 in one scene and here is the inside sentiment from Waffle Flower's Pawfect Sentiments Stamp set. This set is a keeper!
Both cards together:
Thanks for joining me today and come play along with us at The Paper Funday Challenge! Anything Goes!!!
