Christmas Cards with A Colorful Life Designs

Hi friends - this post is all about stencils from A Colorful Life Designs and using them to make Christmas cards. I made quite a few and if they can inspire anyone for mass producing their own cards for this year, I would love it!
The above 2 cards are using the Quirky Christmas Trees stencil with various greens and blues and finally a little brown for the trunks. I just love it with the 2 little hamsters sledding from Waffle Flower Stamps called Winter Hamsters Set.
These 3 cuties below are from Baking Spirits Brights:
Here is the image of the Baking Spirits Bright stencil - 3 parts to this stencil.
This card used only has the Baking Spirits Bright stencil.
For the card below: I cut out the gingerbread man and popped him up over the base made with the Make Some Plaid stencil.
Here is the image of the Make Some Plaid stencil from the website:
This cutie has the Peppermint Candy stencil behind our Gingerbread Man from Baking Sprits Bright:
Here is the Peppermint Candy stencil image from the website:
Baby It's Cold Outside is a simple stencil which could be mass produced very quickly. Here is the image from the website:
I used Ranger Ink's blues and a green for the main word. I added the giraffe drinking coffee from My Favorite Things BB Sweater Weather on Safari:
Now this stencil called Christmas Trio was used several ways. Here is the image from the website.
My Christmas cards used the pine cone image from the Christmas Trio over the Making Some Plaid and a silver glitter frame.
Then a made a few tags with each separate image:
I always need tags. Let's hope they get saved for the Christmas tree!
The two stencils for this card are the deer from "Joy" and Make Some Plaid for the background:
Some gold baubles and a glimmer foiled sentiment finish it off!
A Christmas Star Stencil in Ranger's Distress Ink Twisted Citron along with the deer from JOY in Ranger's Distress Ink Saltwater Taffy and Candied Apple.
More gold baubles and a gold glimmer foiled sentiment:
This card has the Milky Way Stencil in the background:
Here is the Milky Way Stencil image from the website:
I confess this really isn't a card yet, but just a panel. It comes out a little large for my normal card size.
Here is the image of the stencil "JOY" from the website:
All 3 cards with the stencil "JOY" are here:

Do You Love Butterflies?

Hi friends - just a quick post to showcase A Colorful Life Designs' Butterfly Flight Stencil which I just love!
The movement of this stencil is what really appeals to me and I had so many ideas of creating with it - I'll show two here. Here is the image of the stencil from the website:
For my first colorful card I ink blended several Ranger Ink's Distress Oxides in rainbow order: Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon.
A few Honey Bee Small Clear Dew Drops and a sentiment from Hero Arts Birthday Messages (retired) finished off this card!
This next card uses 2 stencils from A Colorful Life Designs - layered. The first stencil is Butterfly Flight ink blended with Ranger Ink's Distress Oxides Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral.
The second step is layering the Milky Way Stencil:
I love the various sizes of the opening of the Milky Way Stencil. I used the same Distress Oxide colors right over the top of the Butterfly Flight Stencil for a second layer of interest.
I felt this card would be good for a sympathy card - muted but a bit uplifting. I realy thank you for joining me today and don't forget to use my discount code: AnitaFan10 for 10% your entire purchase at A Colorful Life Designs!

Wavy Roads 2 Ways

Hi friends and welcome. Today's posts is for 2 cards, once for a child and one Christmas using the Wavy Roads Stencil by A Colorful Life Designs
The Wavy Roads Stencil is a 6" x 9" stencil and perfect for a slimline card. For me, since I sell my cards at my daughter's shop, A2 is more convenient. I was able to make 2 cards out of each ink blended panel. Here is the image of the stencil from the shop:
For this card, I ink blended Ranger Ink Distress Ink Pumice Stone through the Wavy Roads Stencil. I tried to do somewhat of a gradient - lighter and darker areas.
The stamp and die set I used is called Construction Trucks from Pretty Pink Posh. It is really fun to play with children's images for a change. I used my alcohol markers to color all the images and a silver pen for the metal parts.
You know I love the coordinating dies, too:
The inside has a cute little construction cone next to the sentiment!
For my second set of cards, I used another Distress Oxide Ink for ink blending: Salvaged Patina.
The stamp and die set is from Lawn Fawn called Home for the Holidays. It also has a coordinating die. This is one of the cute small Lawn Fawn sets for under $10 you have the stamps and dies. The sentiment comes from the set, too.
Well, I hope you've enjoyed my Wavy Roads cards and don't forget to use my coupon code: AnitaFan10 for 10% off your entire purchase at A Colorful Life Designs (excluding bundles)!

Dogs and Cats

Lover Boy

If you are a cat and dog lover you are not going to want to miss this month's release at A Colorful Life Design.
I'll show just 2 of the stencils in this post: Lover Boy and Paw Prints Stencil:

For Lover Boy I use mini cubes from The Stamp Market: Citrine, Leafy, Island and Jade. The stencil is a 6" X 6", so I cut part of it to make a doggy bookmark, too!
For the Paw Prints stencil, I used mini cubes from The Stamp Market, Hero Arts and My Favorite Things. I have accumulated quite a few mini cubes over the years and very seldom use them, so I made an effort to break them out! The silhouette cat is an old Stampin' Up! punch from my stash.
Thank you for joining me and don't forget about my 10% discount code for A Colorful Life Designs: AnitaFan10.
I will be submitting to my favorite challenge: NBUS for I always seem to have so much Never Before Used Schtuff!
